In the midst of the uncertainty of these times, there’s one thing we can absolutely be confident about.
David says it like this –
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” (Psalm 27:13-14)
Hope is not, “I sorta wish it would go this way.” It’s rather, “I have a joyful and confident expectation that God is going to show up, that in fact he’s here already, and breakthru is on its way.”
In the waiting, in this season, let’s take stock of what we actually believe and why we believe it.
And, if you’re getting bored while you’re at home, take a moment, read this post from VOM with some creative ways to pray during C19.
My friend Becky added to the prayer list:
1. People with special needs, kids that have additional challenges.
2. Kids/families for whom home is not a safe or good place. School is a refuge for many.
